Russia attacks Odesa with ballistic missile: Fire at impact site, casualties reported
A massive fire broke out in Odesa as a result of a Russian missile strike on the evening of May 1, with more than ten people reported injured, according to the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, and the mayor, Henadii Trukhanov.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the Russian army used ballistic missiles to shell Odesa.
"The enemy attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. Currently, at least 13 casualties are known. There is a significant fire at the impact site," Kiper stated.
The city administration confirmed the number of casualties.
"The Russian scum have attacked Odesa again. Currently, 13 casualties are known. Details will follow," Trukhanov said.
Missile attacks on Odesa
Earlier it was reported that there were explosions in Odesa this evening. Not long before, the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned of the threat of a ballistic missile attack.
After that, local media informed about a massive fire in the city after the enemy missile attack.
Before that, the Russian army launched missile attacks on Odesa last night. Thus, on the night of April 30, there were explosions in the city during an air raid due to a ballistic missile strike. Three people were killed and three others were injured in the attack.
