On the night of June 11, Russia launched a massive attack on Kharkiv using strike drones. Hits were recorded in the city, and a fire broke out, reports Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"Strikes have been recorded, preliminarily, in the Osnovianskyi district. A fire has broken out at the site of one of the strikes," the message stated at 00:33.

The mayor reported that, according to preliminary data, a five-story building was hit in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv. A fire is currently burning from the 3rd floor to the top floor. Information about casualties is being clarified.

"In the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv, several private houses were hit, and fires have broken out at the impact sites. Information about casualties is being clarified," Terekhov added.

Attacks on Kharkiv

It should be noted that the Russians are attacking Kharkiv almost daily using drones, missiles, and aerial bombs.

In particular, on the night of June 7, the enemy carried out the most powerful attack since the beginning of the war. Over 50 drones were used in the assault, and the city was covered in smoke.

As a result of the attack, 18 apartment buildings and 13 private houses were damaged. There were many injuries as well as fatalities.
