Russian troops attack Kharkiv with air bombs, drones and artillery: Consequences

On the night of February 1, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv and the region with Shaheds and artillery. The shelling damaged a hospital and civilian objects.

According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, over the past day, Russian occupants carried out five attacks on the city and the region. In particular, the invaders attacked a hospital in Velykyi Burluk with two guided aerial bombs.
"38 people were evacuated, including 5 employees of the hospital. The hospital staff and patients managed to respond to the air raid alarm," notes Syniehubov.
In addition, in Novoosynove village of Kupiansk district, the Russian occupants shelled an outbuilding.
About 20 localities in the Kharkiv region, including Okip, were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks:
- Okip, Bohodukhiv district,
- Lukiantsi of Kharkiv district,
- Vovchansk of Chuhuiv district,
- Synkivka,
- Ivanivka,
- Kyslivka,
- Kotliarivka,
- Pishchane of Kupiansk district and others.
Also, at about midnight, the Russian occupants attacked Kharkiv with four Shahed UAVs.
"Two unmanned aerial vehicles hit the territory of a civilian industrial facility in Osnovianskyi district. There are no casualties. Two enemy UAVs were shot down by Ukrainian Air Defense Forces," the statement says.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war has been launched.
In particular, three UAVs were documented hitting the territory of the Osnovianskyi district.
"The buildings and premises of a civilian enterprise were damaged and a fire broke out. There were no casualties," the statement says.

Rescuers were extinguishing a fire caused by hostile shelling of a residential sector in Novoosynove village, Kupyansk district.
"One of the shells hit an outbuilding on the territory of a private household. A fire broke out over an area of 50 square meters," the SES says.

As a reminder, explosions occurred in Kharkiv on the evening of January 31. Oleg Sinehubov said that a hit was recorded on a civilian infrastructure facility in the Osnovyanskyi district of the city.
