Russian forces struck the Odesa region once again overnight on 29 August, specifically targeting the Izmail district. The attack resulted in casualties and caused significant damage, according to the Izmail District State Administration's Telegram channel.

"Overnight on 29 August, the enemy again attacked the Izmail district. The strike damaged transport infrastructure facilities. There are injured, and tragically, one person has been killed," the statement read.

The injured have already received medical attention, and law enforcement officials, along with medical personnel, are currently working at the scene.

Based on the photo released by the Izmail District State Administration, at least one truck was damaged in the strike.

Strikes on the Odesa region

On the night of 27 August and into the following morning, Odesa came under enemy attack. The attack damaged infrastructure, an educational facility, and a multi-storey residential building.

On 24 August, Russian forces shelled the Odesa region with artillery and missiles, specifically striking food storage warehouses and energy infrastructure.
