Russia attacking Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones
Russian forces launched Shahed-type drones towards Ukraine. Air raid alerts were issued in many regions, and air defense forces were activated, reports the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The first group of enemy drones entered the country’s airspace at 9:25 PM (Kyiv time) from the south, heading northwest.
Later, the drones moved from the Kherson region to the Dnipropetrovsk region and then to the Kirovohrad region. Another group of drones approached Ochakov and the area of Zatoka from the south.
As of 11:40 PM, enemy kamikaze drones were recorded:
- In the northern part of the Poltava region, heading toward the Sumy region.
- From the Kirovohrad region to the Cherkasy region.
- In the center of the Odesa region, heading south.
- In the northern part of the Odesa region, heading toward the Vinnytsia region.
- Approaching Uman from the east.
Monitoring channels reported two drones heading toward Myronivka and Stavyshche in the Kyiv region.
As of 12:10 AM, enemy kamikaze drones were moving:
- Towards the border of Poltava and Sumy regions, heading south.
- From the Cherkasy region toward the Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions.
- In the southern part of Vinnytsia region, along the border with Moldova, heading west.
As of 12:29 AM, enemy kamikaze drones were recorded:
- In the Poltava region, heading south.
- In the Kyiv region, it is heading towards Kyiv.
- In the southern part of Vinnytsia region, heading toward Chernivtsi and Khmelnytskyi regions.
- In the northern part of Vinnytsia region, heading towards Zhytomyr region.
- In the northern part of the Odesa region, heading toward the Kirovohrad region.
According to the latest military reports, as of 12:56 AM, enemy kamikaze drones were observed:
- On the border of Poltava and Sumy regions, heading east.
- On the border of Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, heading north.
- In the southern part of Khmelnytskyi region, heading towards Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv.
- From the Kirovohrad region to the Mykolaiv region.
According to the latest military reports, as of 4:31 AM, enemy kamikaze drones are moving from Cherkasy to Kyiv regions.
At 4:39 AM, the Air Force reported the movement of Shaheds from Kyiv towards the Chernihiv region.
At 5:01 AM, the military announced the movement of a Shahed from Chernihiv towards Kyiv. Monitoring channels report that the drone has changed direction towards Boryspil/Brovary.

Monitoring channels reported that a drone was maneuvering on the border between the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. It is currently heading toward Zhurivka.
At 7:39 AM, the Ukrainian Air Force declared the threat of an attack using strike UAVs was over.
Russian airstrikes
On the evening of December 6, Russian forces launched missiles at a civilian building in Kryvyi Rih. Two people were killed, and eight others were injured.
Additionally, Russian forces shelled Zaporizhzhia. The attack caused a fire at a service station, and according to the latest reports, nine people were killed.
Meanwhile, NATO member countries identified air defense systems that could be swiftly delivered to Ukraine.
