Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles overnight
Russian occupiers launched 20 Shaheds and 3 ballistic missiles over Ukraine on the night of January 31. Air Defense Forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 14 enemy drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russians launched 20 drones of the Shahed-136/131 type from the directions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk - Russian Federation, and Cape Chauda - temporarily occupied Crimea.
The enemy also attacked with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Crimea and the Voronezh region of Russia.
"Using the capabilities of the Air Force, in coordination with the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 14 enemy UAVs were destroyed," the statement said.
It is noted that the drones were eliminated within the territories of Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Kharkiv regions.
Drone attack on Kharkiv
Around 4:00 PM on January 30, a series of explosions were heard in Kharkiv amid air raid sirens. Later, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that occupiers had targeted the Kharkiv region. There was no information on casualties or injuries.
Syniehubov also reported that on the evening of January 30, Russians shelled the Zolochiv and Malodaniliv communities in the Kharkiv region, using an Iskander-M missile.
On the evening of January 30, a series of explosions reverberated again in Kharkiv. The occupiers attacked the city and the region using at least six combat drones. As a result of this attack, a residential building was hit, and three people were injured.
