Drone attack on Kharkiv: Hits on residential building and casualties reported
Kharkiv came under attack by Russian forces employing combat drones on the evening of January 30. A direct impact on a residential building was reported, leading to a subsequent fire. Three casualties have been confirmed, according to statements from Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and the Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov.

According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, three civilians suffered minor injuries and acute stress reactions as a result of the drone attack. Medical assistance was provided to them on-site.
Details on destruction
It is reported that Russian occupiers targeted Kharkiv and its surrounding areas using at least six attack drones, causing damage to civilian infrastructure. According to the Regional Military Administration, there were direct hits on a private residential house in the Saltivsky district of Kharkiv, and damages were recorded in the Slobidskyi district. Firefighters are currently extinguishing a fire in a store.
"The damage is exclusively to civilian infrastructure!" emphasized Syniehubov.
Earlier, the Mayor of Kharkiv reported a Shahed strike on a residential area of the city, noting that a fire broke out at the impact site.
Shelling of Kharkiv on January 30
Around 4:00 PM on January 30, a series of explosions were heard in Kharkiv during an air raid alert. At that time, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a ballistic threat in the Kharkiv region.
Later, Syniehubov reported that occupiers targeted the Kharkiv district. There is no information available regarding casualties or injuries.
Syniehubov also stated that in the evening, Russians shelled the Zolochiv and Malodaniliv communities in the Kharkiv region, using an Iskander-M missile.
On the evening of January 30, Kharkiv experienced another round of explosions. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Shahed-type strike drones were in the vicinity of Kharkiv.
