Rescuers showed the elimination of a fire after a Russian strike on Sumy on the night of October 27. The target was a critical infrastructure facility, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

On the night of October 27, the Russian army struck a critical infrastructure facility in the Sumy community.

"Despite the high fire load, rescuers managed to extinguish all sources of combustion. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the State Emergency Service reports.

As specified by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, Russia struck energy facilities in the Sumy and Donetsk regions. Emergency repair work is ongoing, and energy workers are working around the clock to restore power as quickly as possible.

Russian strikes on energy facilities in Sumy

Part of Sumy was left without electricity on the morning of Monday, October 27, due to Russian drone attacks. Emergency power outages were scheduled in the region.

Before that, the regional power company also reported interruptions in the distribution of electricity in part of the city of Sumy and the Sumy district.
