Rosaviatsia drops bombs on Belgorod region - Media reveal new cases
New cases of airstrikes with aviation bombs by the Russian Aerospace Forces on the territory of the Belgorod region have been recorded. They occurred on June 6 and 8, according to the Russian ASTRA.
According to Russian media reports, the bombs fell in the Shebekino city district and the Grayvoron district of the region. In Russia, such incidents are sometimes explained by the fact that bombs accidentally detach from military aircraft during airstrikes on Ukraine.
For example, on May 6, Russian aircraft lost two aviation bombs, one of which fell 2 km from the village of Batratskaia Dacha, and the other - 2 km from the village of Poliana in the Shebekino city district.
A few days later, a 1.5-ton high-explosive aviation bomb (FAB-1500) was dropped by Russian aviation 800 meters from the village of Novotroivka. Russian journalists note that the aircraft was about 30 kilometers away from the border with Ukraine.
According to the ASTRA, in these three cases, there were no casualties in the Belgorod region, and the evacuation of residents from the mentioned settlements was not carried out.
Falling of aviation bombs in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation and the occupied territories of Ukraine
According to Russian media estimates, over the last hundred days or so, Russian aviation has dropped a total of 86 bombs on the Belgorod region and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Earlier reports indicated, for example, that in mid-May, three FAB-500 aviation bombs fell in the Russian Belgorod region.
Additionally, at the end of May, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published an audio interception in which residents of the Belgorod region express dissatisfaction in personal conversations that Russian forces continue to drop aviation bombs in the region.
