According to the statement in the Twitter of the Chair of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, Marketa Pekarova-Adamova, last night's Russian missile attack on Odessa resulted in injuries and casualties among civilians, as well as the destruction of historical and cultural landmarks, confirming the Kremlin regime's designation as a terrorist entity.

The Czech politician recalled in her post that the Chamber passed a resolution on November 15 of last year, declaring the current Russian regime as a terrorist entity.

"The Russian assault on Odesa, which has harmed children and caused the destruction of historically significant landmarks, fully corroborates the truth of the adopted resolution," she emphasized.

Pekarova-Adamova also added that the Czech Republic will continue to support Ukraine in countering the large-scale invasion by Russia and "defending against criminals."

Russian missile strike on Odesa on July 23

Russian forces launched 19 missiles of various types at the center of Odesa on the night of July 23, 9 of which were intercepted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using anti-aircraft defense. This marked the largest attack on the city by the enemy since the start of the full-scale war.

The Russian missiles targeted Odesa's historical center, partially destroying the Transfiguration Cathedral (Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral).
