Reuters reveals possible location of Zelenskyy-Putin meeting

The possible venue for a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian leader Vladimir Putin has become known to European diplomats. The summit may take place in the coming weeks, according to Reuters.
On Monday, late in the evening, US President Donald Trump said that he had a phone call with Putin and began organizing a meeting between him and Zelenskyy.
After that, according to the US leader, a trilateral summit is to take place.
As a source in the European delegation said, it was Putin who proposed such a sequence of negotiations.
Although the Kremlin has not publicly confirmed the agreements, a senior US official stated that the meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin may take place in Hungary.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz noted that talks between the two presidents are planned within the next two weeks.
Trilateral meeting and talks in Alaska
Earlier, Trump announced a bilateral meeting with Putin on August 15 in Anchorage, Alaska.
Putin may put forward the condition of recognizing the occupied Ukrainian territories as part of Russia in exchange for the withdrawal of troops from other regions.
But the territorial changes are planned to be discussed only with the participation of Zelenskyy during the upcoming trilateral meeting.
European diplomats are assessing possible locations for the trilateral meeting of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump with Russian president Vladimir Putin.
According to RBC-Ukraine, the Ukrainian president is ready to take part in trilateral negotiations in any format.
