Fighters of the Third Assault Brigade conducted a successful counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region, capturing several Russian soldiers as prisoners, according to the Telegram channel of the Third Assault Brigade.
According to the brigade, their fighters carried out successful counterattacks on enemy positions in the Kharkiv region. During the counteroffensive, several Russian soldiers were captured as prisoners.
"The consequences – in photos from the company commander and friend 'Datsyk' and the 2nd assault battalion. Who do you think the epaulets were removed from?" – the Third Assault Brigade wrote.
Situation in Kharkiv region
At the end of August, the Third Assault Brigade carried out a counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region, advancing nearly 2 km. They captured a battalion defense area and several enemy strongholds. Commander Andrii Biletsky stated that these actions diverted the Russians' attention from the direction of Makiivka.
Recently, Ukrainian troops seized trenches and recovered an enemy radio from a dead soldier. During the clearing operation, a living Russian soldier was found, who begged not to be killed, and revealed information about his personnel.
