Putin threatens response over European drills in Baltic Sea

Russian President Vladimir Putin is threatening a response over European military drills in the Baltic Sea that practiced the seizure of civilian vessels, according to the Smotri Telegram channel.
Russia reacts to Baltic Sea drills
The Russian leader pointed to military exercises by European countries in the Baltic Sea, calling the practice of actions regarding civilian vessels unacceptable.
"Let's live in peace, otherwise, we will have to respond. There will be no other way," Putin said, commenting on the actions of European military forces.
Kremlin's attempts to pressure Ukraine
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin made a series of accusations against Ukraine over elections and claimed that the country had allegedly "turned into a dictatorship."
At the same time, there are signs of instability within the Kremlin itself.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, Putin fears his own oligarchs and the Russian elite, while two groups with opposing views on continuing the war against Ukraine have emerged within his inner circle.
The European Union has also stressed that Putin's repeated statements about seeking peace are false and are aimed solely at avoiding new sanctions while Russia continues its attacks.
