Putin threatens military response to any Western threat, cites nuclear reliability

The Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, threatens to respond to any "threat from the West" not with words, but with military force. He is confident in the “reliability” of Russian nuclear weapons, according to the head of the Kremlin at a meeting with members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
The Russian leader cynically said that strategic stability in the world "continues to degrade." According to him, Moscow allegedly repeatedly advanced ideas in order to correct the situation, but there was “no clear response” from the West.
"I emphasize, and in this no one should have doubt, Russia is able to respond to any existing threats that may arise again. To respond not in words, but by way of application of military-technical measures. An example of that – our decision about refusal from the unilateral moratorium on deployment of ground-based missiles of medium and shorter range," added Putin.
He fantasized that the refusal from the moratorium on deployment of ground-based missiles was a forced step, since in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region were placed "similar armaments of American and other Western production."
Provocations of Russia
Let us remind, the Russian leader Vladimir Putin began again to threaten the countries of the West with nuclear weapons against the background of several blatant provocations of the Russian Federation against NATO countries.
In particular, on the night of 10 September, 19 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles attacked the territory of Poland. Air defense forces managed to destroy only four drones.
Also last week three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets intruded into the airspace of Estonia. Against this background, Tallinn requested consultations with NATO.
