Putin's team responds to Zelenskyy's offer to meet at G20 summit

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has not yet made a decision on whether to attend the Group of Twenty summit, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov told Izvestia.
According to Ushakov, the possibility of Putin traveling to the G20 summit in Miami has not even been discussed yet.
"The work is being carried out at the expert level, our specialists are constantly working on the documents for the upcoming summit, so everything is proceeding as usual. As for the possibility of Putin traveling - this issue has not even been discussed by us yet," the Russian dictator's aide said.
Ushakov also confirmed that the Russian authorities continue working with the US side.
He added that the talks have been marked by a "friendly and constructive atmosphere."
It is important to note that Ushakov made the statement immediately after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly addressed Putin.
Zelenskyy effectively proposed that the Kremlin chief hold a personal meeting during the G20 summit in December 2026.
According to Zelenskyy, he is ready to fly there if the Russian dictator attends.
"We have to be there. We have to meet, talk and make decisions," the Ukrainian president emphasized.
By the way, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi publicly called on Putin again the day before to begin negotiations to end the war against Ukraine.
However, the Kremlin chief is in no rush to do so - instead, he has begun threatening Europe with a war against Russia if an important decision on Ukraine is made.
