The Kremlin has said it does not expect the implementation of agreements reached during talks in Anchorage and is continuing to focus on achieving its own objectives, according to a statement by Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov to Pavel Zarubin for the Russian outlet Vesti.

According to him, Moscow's position remains unchanged and is based on principles previously outlined by the Russian side.

"We do not expect these agreements to be implemented; we expect victory. We expect the realization of our own goals," Ushakov said.

He also claimed that statements and commitments made by the Russian side during the Anchorage talks were based on its principled position and have not changed.

In addition, Putin's aide said that, at present, only one side is adhering to the agreements reached.

He did not specify which side he meant, but added that the other party allegedly proved "not fully capable of completing its part of the path."

"At the moment, one side continues to adhere to the agreements discussed in Anchorage, while the other side, it seems, as can already be said now, turned out to be not fully capable of completing its part of the path and fulfilling the agreements," he said.

Ushakov made the comments while responding to his earlier claim that G7 participants were allegedly trying to convince US President Donald Trump to abandon agreements with Russia.

According to him, during the summit, Trump was "fed harmful ideas" regarding the Ukrainian issue.
