Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to invade other countries. Therefore, Poland is developing its armed forces, said Polish President Karol Nawrocki during a joint press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, reported by The Guardian.

"We do not trust Vladimir Putin's good intentions. While waiting, of course, for a long-term peace, permanent peace, which is necessary to our regions, we believe that Vladimir Putin is ready to also invade other countries," said Nawrocki.

That is why, according to him, Poland is developing its armed forces.

"We are developing our partnership and our allied relations," added the Polish president, without specifying any concrete measures.

In turn, Stubb said that he had regularly communicated with US President Donald Trump over the past few months, as European states insist on ending the war in Ukraine.

"We try to explain that Putin cannot be trusted, that Putin is playing his usual delay tactics," noted the President of Finland.

Europe warns about Putin's plans

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz warned that the imperialist plans of Russian President Vladimir Putin are not limited to Ukraine but only begin with it.

Merz also stated that Putin is "possibly the most serious war criminal of our time."

At the same time, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a predator. He will not stop at Ukraine and is already attacking European countries.
