This winter, Vladimir Putin wants to create a humanitarian disaster in Ukraine, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Today, October 24, Zelenskyy met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London.

According to the BBC, sitting next to the Ukrainian leader, Starmer confirmed his "absolute commitment to meeting the challenge of Russian aggression."

"What we see from Putin as an absolute unwillingness to engage," Starmer says.

He also noted that he truly believes that pressure could be put on Russian oil and gas as early as this week.

"huge steps forward this week already," he said.

In turn, the Ukrainian President noted that Putin wants a "humanitarian disaster" in Ukraine this winter.

Today, October 24, a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing will take place in London. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has already confirmed his participation in the event.

President Zelenskyy will personally attend this meeting.

Earlier today, he met with King Charles III.

Zelenskyy also held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron the day before.

The leaders coordinated their positions ahead of the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing and discussed the course of the war, increasing pressure on Russia, and the consequences of the latest massive strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

The Coalition of the Willing is an alliance of European states and the US created to support Ukraine in its war against Russia.
