Putin threatens the West again and orders large-scale nuclear tests
Russia is set to begin preparations for "full-scale nuclear tests." Leader Vladimir Putin has instructed officials to work on this issue.
According to the Kremlin leader, if the United States or other signatories of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty conduct such tests, Russia "will have to take an appropriate and adequate response."
Angelina Jolie arrives in Kherson: Details of the visit
World-famous actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie made an unexpected visit to Kherson. The actress visited local medical facilities, including a maternity hospital and a children's clinic.
According to sources close to the visit's organizers, Jolie inspected patient conditions and spoke with doctors and mothers staying in the maternity ward.
North Korea deploys 10,000 troops to Russia-Ukraine border, South Korean intel
The South Korean intelligence says there are currently about 10,000 North Korean soldiers performing security functions on the border between Russia and Ukraine.
According to intelligence reports, over 1,000 of the 10,000 North Korean engineers are involved in demining work in border areas. Moreover, Pyongyang has sent another 5,000 of its citizens, planning to be used to restore infrastructure in the occupied territories.
Russia spreads fake news about NATO preparing to blockade Kaliningrad
Russian propaganda continues a campaign spreading disinformation about NATO preparing to attack Russia. Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Alexander Grushko, in his interview, claimed that NATO was practicing a scenario to block the Kaliningrad region while simultaneously reinforcing the region with troops and equipment.
"By spreading such manipulations, the Kremlin is trying to justify Russia’s aggressive policies, create an illusion of a 'Western threat' among Russians, and foster a sense of a 'besieged fortress'," analysts of the Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation.
