Putin may discuss Ukraine war with Modi during talks, Kremlin says

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi may discuss a settlement of the war in Ukraine during upcoming talks, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, according to TASS.
According to him, during meetings, the Russian leader tells his counterparts about what is "happening on the ground."
"As a rule, when there is time, Putin uses such meetings to inform his counterparts about what is actually happening on the ground," he said.
On September 10, Peskov said that the aggressor country is not even considering an energy truce in the war against Ukraine, cynically calling energy its weak point.
According to Peskov, Russia is allegedly ready for a peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine. At the same time, the Kremlin said that further progress in the negotiation process depends on Kyiv's position.
In particular, Peskov said that Russia does not rule out the possibility of resuming a trilateral format of talks on the war in Ukraine.
