There are currently no signs on the battlefield that Russia is ready for a ceasefire and the start of meaningful negotiations, according to data from Ukrainian intelligence analysts, Major General Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Chief of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Directorate, said.
Analysts from Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Directorate base their assessment on the fact that there are currently no signs on the battlefield indicating that Russia is ready to cease fire and begin meaningful negotiations, the interview says.
Moreover, it is known that the enemy's plans are not to reach any agreements or sign a peace deal by the end of the year.
During the conversation with Vadym Skibitskyi, it also became clear that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin wants to achieve the goals he has set for himself. These include the capture of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
“Their General Staff's plans call for completing the capture of the Donetsk region by the end of this year,” the deputy head of Ukrainian intelligence said.
Earlier, it was reported that Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) plans to abolish border zones in certain areas of the Rostov and Voronezh regions, which border Ukraine's temporarily occupied territories.
