The Russian President Vladimir Putin has already flown to the city of Anchorage in Alaska, where his meeting with US President Donald Trump will take place, according to the Flightradar service.

Putin departed from Magadan on a Tu-214PU aircraft. According to the service’s data, the plane is scheduled to arrive in Anchorage at 09:38 PM (08:38 PM Kyiv time).

According to Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, during the flight, Putin is "working on talking points" for the upcoming summit, specifically covering all aspects of resolving the war against Ukraine.

Peskov also previously noted that the plane is expected to land in Alaska at 11:00 AM local time (10:00 PM Kyiv time).

Expectations for the meeting

Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin is intended to prepare a trilateral summit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He noted that he wants to organize such a leaders-level meeting as soon as possible.

Trump also suggested that the summit would likely be held in Alaska.

At the same time, the US leader expressed doubts about whether he would be able to convince Putin to stop the killings during the meeting.
