Putin condemns bridge blasts, stays silent on Ukraine's airbase attacks

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a government meeting, complained about what he called "Ukrainian terrorist attacks." He mentioned only the destruction of bridges in Russia's Bryansk and Kursk regions, according to TASS.
The President stated that the recent explosions on railway lines in Bryansk and Kursk regions were "undeniably acts of terrorism."
"Decisions to commit such crimes were, of course, made in Ukraine at the political level," the Kremlin leader alleged.
He cynically claimed that civilians "always suffer" during armed conflicts, but described the bridge explosions as a "deliberate strike on civilians."
The President went on to suggest that the alleged "terrorist act" was aimed at disrupting the peace process, since the bridges were destroyed just before the negotiations in Istanbul.
"This only confirms our concerns that the illegitimate regime in Kyiv, which seized power, is gradually turning into a terrorist organization. And its sponsors are becoming accomplices to terrorism," Putin alleged.
Meanwhile, during the same meeting, Putin made no mention of Ukraine's impressive special operation Spiderweb, in which Russia reportedly lost a third of its strategic aviation fleet.
Bridge blasts in Russia

Officials state the bridge was blown up.
That same night, in Russia's Kursk region, a railway bridge carrying a freight train collapsed onto a highway. According to Russian reports, three people were injured in the incident.
