Presidential office offers Ukraine's partners cooperation on intercepting jet-powered drones

Ukraine may provide its partners with new technologies for intercepting jet-powered drones, as these developments require substantial funding to scale up, according to Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov in an interview with Euronews.
Ukraine offers technology partnership
Countries that have existing agreements with Ukraine on cooperation in the drone sector could negotiate access to Kyiv's latest technologies. This concerns countering new Russian jet-powered drones, Budanov said.
The Head of the Presidential Office stated that Ukraine is already using its new interception technology in combat conditions. The next step is to rapidly scale up production before the most difficult part of winter begins.
According to Budanov, the technology can intercept Russian jet-powered Shaheds in most cases. However, the main challenge remains producing it in sufficiently large quantities.
"This isn’t about any specific product. It’s in principle about cooperation between countries on similar products," Budanov said.
He believes that every partner that has signed drone-related agreements with Ukraine has the right to continue negotiations on specific products.
Budanov is also confident that Ukraine will be able to reach the required level of production by winter. The urgency of this race is already obvious, he said.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Budanov said Ukraine needs expanded Starlink and Starshield capabilities to counter Russian missile systems.
In addition, Budanov said that Ukraine will begin mass use of interceptor drones within several months.
