Ukraine to mass-deploy interceptor drones within months

Ukraine will begin deploying interceptor drones on a large scale within a few months, Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, told Novyny.LIVE.
Budanov noted that prototypes of the interceptor drones are already being tested in combat conditions and are shooting down enemy drones.
“We are now testing prototypes not in laboratories as we did before, but in real combat conditions, and they are doing their job,” said the head of the Office of the President.
According to him, the focus is now on scaling up the production and deployment of such systems. The widespread use of interceptor drones could begin within a few months.
Ukraine is already testing interceptor drones
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently released the first footage of Ukrainian interceptor drones destroying Shahed jet drones.
According to him, Ukraine has already tested several systems designed to counter Shahed jet drones in actual combat. Now the government wants to make them a standard part of its arsenal.
The SBU shot down a Geran-5 rocket with a Ukrainian interceptor and released a video of the incident.
