Election in Moldova
Moldova recently held the first round of the presidential election and a referendum on the country's accession to the European Union (EU). During the electoral process, the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Russia of deliberately organizing queues at polling stations to create obstacles to voting.
Deputy Prime Minister Kristina Gerasimova said that Russia was conducting a large-scale campaign to destabilize the political situation in Moldova. According to her, Moscow has allocated about 100 million euros to undermine both the presidential election and the referendum.
Yesterday, November 3, the second round of the presidential election took place. Read more about how the world reacted to Sandu's victory in RBC-Ukraine's report.
