Precision strike: Ukrainian Corsar drones destroy Russian tank and vehicles in Pokrovsk direction
Ukrainian kamikaze drones from the Corsar battalion carried out precise strikes on Russian equipment in the Pokrovsk direction. As a result of the attack, a Russian tank and several motorcycles used by the enemy to move along the front were destroyed, according to the Dnipro operational-strategic group of troops.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, enemy motorcycles and a tank were destroyed. Operators of the Corsar strike UAV battalion work with surgical precision, hitting the target directly," the military said.
According to the Dnipro command, Ukrainian soldiers closely monitor enemy movements and deliver precise strikes on its equipment.
"Enemy, we see your every step, track your every move. We work with precision and accuracy — minus the enemy motorcycles and a tank. Combat work continues in the Pokrovsk direction. The Corsar UAV battalion keeps watching and eliminating everything Russian!" the statement read.
Situation on the front
More than three years ago, Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Since then, the Russian army has carried out daily massive attacks on Ukrainian towns and villages.
Civilians and civilian infrastructure — residential buildings, schools, hospitals — are constantly under attack. Russian forces actively use artillery, aircraft, missiles, and drones.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to resist and inflict losses on the enemy in all directions of the front. Just in the past 24 hours, on August 26, around 180 combat clashes were recorded.
In its morning update on August 27, Ukraine’s General Staff published the current situation on key directions and released updated battle maps. According to their data, Russian troop losses over the last day reached nearly 1,000 personnel.
Additionally, on the night of August 27, Ukraine’s Air Force successfully repelled another massive drone attack.
