A powerful fire broke out near the KAMAZ plant in Russia. Footage from the scene of the incident has been shared online on local Telegram channels.
Initially, social media users claimed that the fire broke out at the KAMAZ automobile assembly plant located in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny in Tatarstan. However, later reports on the network suggested that supposedly the fire started near the plant in a garbage dump.
Footage of the powerful fire has been shared online. In the videos, it is noticeable that the blaze is accompanied by heavy smoke.
KAMAZ is the largest Russian manufacturer of trucks, passenger vehicles, tractors, and components. The company is among the top ten manufacturers of heavy trucks.
Its main production facilities are located in Naberezhnye Chelny.
From open sources, it is also known that KAMAZ is the main supplier of automotive equipment to the Russian army.
Earlier in Russia, a furniture factory was on fire. The fire spread to at least 3600 square meters. It took over 60 firefighters to extinguish it.
Also, in St. Petersburg, a large warehouse of an online store completely burned down. At the time of the fire, there were at least 1000 people in the warehouse.
