Powerful explosions rock Kyiv as city comes under ballistic missile attack

A series of powerful explosions rocked Kyiv as Russian forces launched a ballistic missile attack on the city, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
At 2:28 AM Kyiv time, the military reported the detection of a high-speed aerial target moving toward Kyiv from the north.
A minute later, the Air Force reported another high-speed target approaching the capital.
Shortly after, a series of powerful explosions was heard in the city.
Massive air attack on Kyiv
During the night of July 10, Russian forces launched a large-scale air assault on Kyiv using Shahed-type attack drones.
The first explosions, caused by air defense systems engaging drones, were heard in the capital around 1:00 AM Kyiv time.
After a short pause, another wave of explosions occurred around 1:45 AM Kyiv time.
According to monitoring channels, around 30 enemy drones were approaching the capital.
