Powerful explosions were heard in Kyiv. The city is being attacked by Russian Shahed strike drones, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko and the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
"In the capital, air defense forces are working against the Russian UAVs. Stay in shelters!" wrote Klitschko.
"Air defense is working against enemy targets," noted Tkachenko.
At 01:13 AM Kyiv time, fragments have been found in the Holosiivskyi district. Details are being clarified.
Missile attack
In addition, Russian forces are attacking Kyiv with ballistic missiles.
At 01:13 and 01:14 AM Kyiv time, the military reported the movement of high-speed targets from the east towards Kyiv.
