In Kharkiv and Dnipro, power outages occurred after shelling, according to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and Suspilne.

Situation in Kharkiv

After the explosions, electricity almost completely disappeared in Kharkiv.

"The occupiers have carried out more than 15 strikes on energy facilities. The city is practically completely without electricity. All emergency services are already working," Syniehubov's statement said.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov noted that due to the power outage at pumping stations, the city is already experiencing problems with water supply. Also, in the morning, electric transport will not operate on routes - transportation will be provided by buses according to the blackout scheme.

Moreover, in the Kharkiv region and its surroundings, serious disruptions in internet connection have occurred.

Situation in Dnipro

Electricity has disappeared in Dnipro due to shelling. Repeat explosions are heard in the city.

Situation in Kryvyi Rih

Mayor Oleksandr Vilkul mentioned that the city has implemented schedules for emergency power outages. Hospitals and other infrastructure facilities are switching to generators where possible.

Attack on Ukraine on March 22

In the night of March 22, Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine.

Around 4:00 AM, the Ukrainian Air Force reported missile launches by strategic bombers Tu-95 from the Caspian Sea region. It was also reported that Tu-22M3 and MiG-31 bombers took off from the Savasleyka airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Subsequently, explosions were heard in the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
