Russia is unlikely to agree to an unconditional full ceasefire for three weeks, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports.

"Russia is unlikely to agree to a 'full ceasefire without any conditions' within three weeks given that Russia has demanded that the West provide some sanctions relief as a precondition for a temporary Black Sea ceasefire," the report states.

As ISW reminds, US President Donald Trump on March 30 said there is an unspecified "psychological deadline" for Russia to agree to a ceasefire.

Negotiations in Saudi Arabia

In March, Russia and Ukraine held separate negotiations with the US side. As a result of meetings with Kyiv and Moscow, a partial ceasefire was reached, at least regarding strikes on energy infrastructure. Russia stated that the agreement began on March 18. However, the terrorist state continued its nightly attacks on Ukrainian cities, destroying residential buildings and damaging energy facilities.

As President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted, Russia must be forced into peace.

According to Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, Russia continues to violate the agreement. On the morning of April 1, Russian forces attacked an energy facility in Kherson.
