According to Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin will not abandon the idea of ending the war in Ukraine, reports Fox News.

"I don't think he is going to go back on this work. I don't think he is going to go back with to this work," said US President Donald Trump to reporters aboard Air Force One.

He reiterated that the US has made progress in reaching a ceasefire agreement between Ukraine and Russia. Trump also noted that there is a psychological deadline for when the ceasefire should take place in this conflict.

Additionally, US President Donald Trump once again commented on Putin's recent statement about temporary governance in Ukraine under the auspices of the UN, which essentially hinted at the alleged illegitimacy of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"I was disappointed in a certain way. Some of the things that were said over the last day or two having to do with Zelenskyy. Because he considers Zelenskyy not credible. Supposedly, making a deal with him, whether you like it or you don't like him," Trump stated.

Finally, on this topic, the White House leader remarked that he wouldn't want to impose secondary tariffs on Russia. However, he emphasized that the US would definitely impose them on Venezuela and all countries that deceived Washington all this time.
