Sometimes, the urge for something out of the ordinary strikes, and if you've grown tired of the usual pancakes, so why not give an interesting poppy seed pancake recipe a shot? You won't need to invest much time as it's super easy and fast to make, according to the YouTube channel Na Zdorovya.

To whip up these poppy seed pancakes, you'll need the following ingredients:

  • 200 grams of wheat flour
  • 4 chicken eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 500 milliliters of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of starch
  • 2-3 tablespoons of poppy seeds
  • 250 milliliters of water
  • A pinch of salt

Let's get started. Beat the eggs with sugar and salt using a fork or a whisk until the sugar dissolves completely.

Next, add sunflower oil and milk. Mix well and gradually add starch and flour. The batter should be smooth. Add poppy seeds and pour in the water.

Stir the batter until all components are well combined. Let the mixture sit for 15-20 minutes, then proceed to fry the pancakes.

Pour the batter onto a preheated and oiled pan. Fry the pancakes on both sides until the edges turn golden brown.

You can serve the poppy seed pancakes in various ways, by accompanying them with jam or creating fillings to roll them into rolls or pockets.
