Politico reveals footage of Ukraine's Flamingo cruise missile tests

Ukraine has entered serial production of the cruise missile Flamingo, capable of covering a distance of up to 3000 km and carrying a warhead weighing more than a ton. Footage of its tests has appeared online, according to Politico.
The newspaper Politico published a video of the tests of the Ukrainian cruise missile Flamingo. In the footage one can see how the missile is launched from a platform and flies into the sky, leaving behind a yellow trail.
Although Russian air defense systems are capable of shooting down such threats, Ukraine has already proven its effectiveness in carrying out complex operations using swarms of drones and intercepting missiles in order to suppress the enemy’s defenses.
If the Flamingo can break deep into Russia and strike targets in the rear, it will pose a deadly threat.
Unlike drones, which carry relatively small charges, the Flamingo is capable of delivering much more powerful strikes.
For example, in June, Ukraine used the cruise missile R-360 Neptune with a 150-kilogram warhead during an attack on an oil refinery in Tuapse. The fire was extinguished for three days. The Flamingo can deliver even more destructive strikes.
The CEO of Fire Point, Iryna Terekh, emphasized that the success of the “Flamingo” is already significant.
She added that they are still exploring all possibilities, and also stressed that the company’s drones are already "partly responsible for the closure of airports and high gasoline prices in Russia."
At the same time, according to the assessment of missile technology expert Fabian Hoffmann from the University of Oslo, the “Flamingo” may become “the strongest security guarantee for Ukraine.”
Yesterday, information appeared about the volumes with which Ukraine is manufacturing this missile. However, as Terekh assured, this is only the initial stage, and by October, production is planned to be increased sevenfold.
