Polish developers have successfully tested the new long-range Striker drone at a Ukrainian training ground. The aircraft is capable of engaging targets at distances of up to one thousand kilometers from the launch point, according to the Militarnyi portal.

The Striker drone underwent comprehensive tests at one of the training grounds in the Kyiv region. Ukrainian operators have already evaluated the equipment in action and given positive feedback after the flights.

The manufacturer emphasizes the accuracy of all the data obtained. Real-world tests confirmed the system's survivability and effectiveness.

FlyFocus Striker specifications

This strike drone belongs to the Deep Strike category – attacking deep into the enemy's rear. Its maximum takeoff weight is 140 kilograms.

The developers offer two versions of power units for the customer to choose from:

  • A small piston engine for standard missions.
  • A jet engine for high-speed operations.

The version with a piston engine reaches speeds of 90 to 180 kilometers per hour. If speed is required, the jet modification is chosen. It can accelerate to 325 kilometers per hour, making the drone a difficult target for enemy air defenses.

The main advantage of the new system is its operational range. With a 40-kilogram warhead, the Striker covers 1,000 kilometers. This allows it to attack strategic targets deep in the rear. There is also the option to increase the payload weight to 60 kilograms.

The manufacturer has provided for different types of warheads:

  • High-explosive fragmentation for engaging personnel and equipment.
  • Thermobaric for destroying fortifications and warehouses.

The Striker's control system is modern and flexible. Target guidance is carried out in two main modes. The first option is a flight to predetermined coordinates. The second is the use of a video homing head.

Satellite channels are used for data transmission, ensuring stable communication over long distances. All control channels are protected by reliable encryption. Intercepting the drone's control is almost impossible.

The drone is launched from a pneumatic launcher. This is a mobile solution that allows for rapid preparation and repositioning.

Both strike and reconnaissance

The platform has broad potential for use. In addition to strike missions, it can operate as a reconnaissance drone. The large range allows for long-term observation of enemy territory.

The drone can also be used as an aerial target for training air defense crews.

What other drones are being developed and tested in Ukraine

The company Triada Robotics is working on the Bravo drone, capable of cutting through the air at 700 km/h. It can cover distances of up to 2,000 kilometers.

Additionally, serial production of the Octopus-100 interceptor drone against jet-powered Shahed drones has begun in Ukraine. The missile is lifted into the sky on special balloons, with launches taking place at high altitudes, ranging from 12 to 18 kilometers.
