Poland is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine. Additionally, Kyiv will receive new batches of tanks as part of the corresponding coalition, according to a statement by Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Ramstein meeting.

"Poland is preparing another support package for Ukraine, another donation. We always provide what is possible," he said.

At the same time, the Polish minister clarified that "there is a limit that we do not cross."

"Which is the limit of the security of the Polish state," emphasized the head of the defense ministry.

Kosiniak-Kamysz also added that at the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, he presented the coalition's roadmap for creating armored and tank capabilities for Ukraine, as well as information about the next donation.

"All countries participating in this meeting are preparing for further support and donations for Ukraine," he concluded.

Poland’s aid to Ukraine

It was announced in mid-December that Poland would transfer a new aid package to Ukraine. At that time, the exact date of the transfer was not specified, but it was expected to take place in January 2025.

The Tank Coalition is a community of partner countries that have agreed to supply tanks to Ukraine to repel Russia’s aggression. As part of this coalition, the United States has transferred Abrams M1A2 tanks to Ukraine, while the United Kingdom has provided Challenger-2 tanks.
