Police release footage of first minutes after Russia’s brutal strike on Yarova in Donetsk region

Russian forces struck civilians with an aerial bomb in the village of Yarova in the Donetsk region. Footage has emerged showing the first moments after the attack, according to the Donetsk region police on Facebook.
According to the police, as of now, 20 people have been identified as killed in the strike on Yarova, including 15 women (aged 54–79) and 9 men (aged 53–87). The information on four more individuals is still being verified.
As of 06:30 PM Kyiv time, 24 people are reported dead and 19 injured. Law enforcement officers are collecting evidence of yet another war crime by Russia.
"Among the injured are five men aged 50–79 and 14 women aged 38–72. They have been diagnosed with blast injuries, amputations, shrapnel wounds, and fractures," the police specified.
The victims have been hospitalized in the cities of Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and Lyman. Evacuation from Yarova is ongoing.
Strike on Yarova
Today, September 9, Russia carried out an airstrike on a location in Yarova where pensions were being distributed to retirees.
It is known that among the victims are pensioners and employees of Ukrposhta (post service - ed.).
Responding to the attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the world to increase pressure on Russia, stating that without new sanctions, diplomacy will not work.
