Poland urges citizens to prepare three-day survival kits: Here's why

The Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration is urging citizens to prepare a three-day supply for autonomous survival in case of a crisis situation, Rynek Zdrowia reports.
"Let's be prepared, within our capabilities, for at least three days of survival without assistance from state structures," said Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Wiesław Leśniewicz.
According to him, the kit should include a water supply, necessary medications, hygiene and sanitation products, food reserves, lighting that operates without electricity, charged power banks, and a portable radio. Leśniewicz emphasized that "civil defense is not just about waiting for help guaranteed by state structures," but each person should also personally take care of their own safety and the safety of their loved ones.
He also noted that Poland is working on creating a crisis guide in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and the Government Security Center.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Poland is holding "serious talks" with France regarding President Emmanuel Macron's proposal for a "nuclear umbrella" to protect Europe.
