Poland to purchase nearly hundred Apache helicopters from US
Poland has signed a contract with the United States for the purchase of 96 modern Apache helicopters, according to Twitter (X) of the Polish Ministry of Defense.
Vice Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, has signed a contract with the US government for the supply of 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters, including a package of logistics support, training, ammunition, and spare parts.
The total value of the contract is $10 billion.
The agreement was signed at the Łatków Airport in Inowrocław, where a helicopter base is located.
Earlier, it was reported that Poland had signed a contract for the production of 48 M903 launchers, part of the Patriot air defense systems, worth $1.23 billion.
Poland also concluded a deal with the US for the purchase of missiles, with the contract amounting to $850 million.
