Poland will consider providing further military assistance to Ukraine, including additional missiles for Patriot air defense systems, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said, according to Rzeczpospolita.

Tusk spoke at a press conference in Lublin following the overnight incident in which a Russian missile landed in Poland. He stressed that Warsaw would not stop supporting Kyiv despite internal political discussions.

"I understand the different burden that falls on Poland, but like it or not, we will do everything possible to help Ukraine," the prime minister said.

According to Tusk, the next 100 days could prove decisive for the course of the war.

Tusk said there was no reason to believe Poland had been the target of the overnight attack, although two Russian aerial objects violated the country's airspace. One of them landed in the Lublin region.

"The soldiers were ordered to shoot down the missile if it headed toward a populated area. Fortunately, it landed in an uninhabited area," the prime minister said.

He added that the incident caused no casualties or damage and resulted from one of Russia's largest aerial attacks since the start of the full-scale war.

Tusk also said he has been in contact with most European leaders. According to him, the United States has also expressed interest in joining the investigation.

As previously reported, during the night of July 30, a Russian cruise missile, believed to have been a Kh-101, entered Polish airspace and crashed in the Lublin Voivodeship near the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia. The incident caused no casualties or damage.

According to Poland's Ministry of National Defense, Polish forces detected more than 20 Russian cruise missiles near the country's border during the attack.
