On the night of October 10, Poland issued alerts in two border voivodeships due to Russia’s attack on Ukraine. Polish military aircraft were operating in the country’s airspace, according to Poland’s Government Security Center (RCB).

Poland’s Government Security Centre sent alerts to residents of two voivodeships bordering Ukraine. The message referred to a Russian airstrike on Ukrainian territory and the activities of Polish military aircraft.

"Attention! Russian airstrike on the territory of Ukraine. The situation is under control. Polish aircraft are operating in the airspace of the Republic of Poland. Await further messages," the RCB said.

The alerts were sent to recipients in the Lublin and Subcarpathian voivodeships.

Polish military aircraft operated in the country’s airspace during Russia’s attack on Ukraine. The operation ended at around 8:00 a.m. local time.

On the night of October 10, Russia attacked Ukraine with 160 attack drones, including 110 jet-powered ones. Air defense forces shot down or suppressed 117 drones, but hits were recorded at 14 locations.

In the morning, Russian drones attacked western regions of Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk, and air defense systems were operating.
