Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski believes that Russia's Vladimir Putin is mocking US President Donald Trump, Reuters reports.

Sikorski hopes that US President Donald Trump and his administration will see that Putin is mocking their goodwill after Moscow's deadly missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Sumy.

He recalled that Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire over a month ago. And the horrific attacks on Kryvyi Rih and Sumy are Russia's mocking response.

"I hope that President Trump and the U.S. administration see that the leader of Russia is mocking their goodwill and I hope the right decisions are taken," Sikorski said.

Russian strikes on Ukraine

In March, Ukraine agreed to a US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire. However, Russia did not support this idea, saying that this agreement would not solve Russia's unsolvable problems.

After the talks, Russia significantly intensified its strikes on Ukraine, using drones and missiles of various types.

In particular, on April 4, the Russians attacked the city of Kryvyi Rih with a missile with a cluster warhead to cause as many casualties as possible. As a result, 19 people were killed, including 9 children.

And on Sunday, April 13, the Russians launched a double ballistic missile attack on the center of Sumy. As of the morning of April 14, the number of wounded as a result of Russia's missile strike on Sumy had risen to 119. At least 34 people were killed.

All that is currently known about the consequences of the Russian missile strike on the city of Sumy can be found in the RBC-Ukraine report.
