Poland's President Karol Nawrocki criticized the US peace plan that the White House is attempting to impose on Ukraine. He said that any peace proposals must first be approved by Ukraine and should not reward the aggressor.

He emphasized that any plan to end the war in Ukraine, a war initiated by the Russian regime, must first be accepted in Kyiv. He noted that Ukraine is the victim of Putin's criminal aggression and that Ukrainians, with support from the US and EU countries, must have the decisive voice in peace negotiations.

Nawrocki added that all proposals to end Russia's war against Ukraine must recognize one key fact: Russia is a state that does not honor agreements or keep its word.

He stated that any agreements on peace and security in Europe can only be achieved with the participation of all relevant parties and that the price of peace must never involve fulfilling the aggressor's strategic objectives, with the aggressor remaining Russia.

Recently, leaders of the European Union and NATO issued a joint statement on the US peace plan for Ukraine, noting that the plan could serve as a basis but requires significant revisions.

American and Russian officials have drafted a 28-point proposal aimed at ending Russia's war against Ukraine. Under the plan, Ukraine would cede part of the Donbas region to Russia in exchange for long-term security guarantees for Ukraine and the EU, reducing the Ukrainian army, and giving up long-range weapons.

The proposal has already drawn sharp criticism from Ukraine, European governments, and members of the US Congress. It is widely regarded as unacceptable. Analysts note that some Russian involvement appears likely, citing odd phrases in the document. Western media have suggested that parts of the text may have been originally written in Russian.

Meanwhile, the US is demanding that Ukraine approve the plan by November 27. Washington has threatened to halt all military aid to Kyiv if it does not comply, constituting an open act of coercion by the White House.
