Poland’s Duda to make last visit to Ukraine as president

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Polish President Andrzej Duda held a meeting during which the Polish leader pledged to visit Ukraine before the end of his term, according to the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
The Office also noted that President Zelenskyy congratulated Karol Nawrocki on his victory in the presidential election.
Zelenskyy emphasized that continued Polish support for Ukraine is vital not only for Ukraine but for all of Europe.
For his part, Duda assured that he supports Ukraine's membership in the European Union and NATO.
"You have been our friend from the very beginning – even before the full-scale war began. I’m grateful to be able to count on our friendship. I thank the Polish people for their support," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the meeting.
During their meeting, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations, diplomatic efforts, and the importance of exerting pressure on Russia to achieve a just and lasting peace. They agreed that it is crucial to intensify joint pressure on Russia from the United States, Europe, and other international partners.
President Zelenskyy also invited President Duda to visit Ukraine. The Polish leader confirmed that he would make the visit before the end of his term.
Polish presidential election
On June 2, it was announced that Karol Nawrocki, the candidate from the Law and Justice party ( Prawo i Sprawiedliwość), won Poland's presidential election. He received 50.89% of the vote, while his opponent, Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska) candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, secured 49.11%.
