Missile attack on Ukraine
On the morning of February 15, the Russian army launched another missile strike on Ukraine, damaging numerous civilian objects in various regions.
Around 2:00 AM Kyiv time, six Tu-95 strategic bombers took off from the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region.
At around 5:00 AM, an air raid alert was issued in several regions, which later spread across the entire territory of Ukraine. The Air Force reported the launch of Kalibr missiles by Russians from the Black Sea.
Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi reported that the Russian forces might have targeted Lviv and its region with over ten missiles.
"According to preliminary information, over 10 missiles flew into our region. The air defense system effectively responded to this attack, but we still have one hit on an infrastructure object," he said.
The mayor's office specified that the explosion shattered windows in residential buildings on Naukova Street and also damaged a school. Emergency services are at the scene.
