Plan for first steps toward achieving peace to be ready soon - Zelenskyy

Ukraine and Europe are preparing a plan for the first steps toward achieving a just and sustainable peace. It will be ready soon, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.
As Zelenskyy shared, today he had a phone conversation with Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob to "inform him about the leaders' summit in London and discuss our joint efforts."
"We are preparing a plan for the first steps toward achieving a just and sustainable peace. We are working on it quickly. It will be ready soon," the president noted.
He emphasized that Europe has a shared vision regarding the end of the war and security guarantees, and it should be at the table for future negotiations alongside Ukraine and the United States.
"We also discussed the implementation of our Food from Ukraine initiative. Slovenia is joining our efforts to support the Syrian people," Zelenskyy added.
The president also had a productive conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof after their meeting in London.
"We discussed coordination with our partners and the preparation of a joint plan. The first steps toward achieving a just peace are extremely important. We want to move forward with them as soon as possible in cooperation with the United States and all of Europe," the president stated.
Additionally, according to Zelenskyy, the Netherlands is preparing new packages of military and financial assistance. He also informed the Dutch prime minister about Ukraine's priority needs.
Peace plan
On March 4, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine and Europe will soon prepare a plan for sustainable peace.
Zelenskyy also outlined the first possible steps for conflict resolution: the release of prisoners; an immediate ceasefire in the sky — prohibiting missiles, long-range drones, and attacks on civilian infrastructure — along with halting hostilities at sea, provided Russia does the same.
According to him, Ukraine hopes to proceed quickly through all subsequent stages and reach an agreement with the United States on a strong final deal.
