Peskov vows retaliation against Ukraine after Ozon attacks

Russia allegedly plans to carry out strikes on Kyiv every day and every night in retaliation for Ukraine's attacks on the Ozon marketplace, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
"In this context, I want to once again refer you to Putin's interview on Saturday. It was clearly stated there that Ukraine is trying to strike commercial and trade infrastructure while pursuing a variety of objectives. The Kyiv regime is failing to achieve this," Peskov falsely claimed.
According to the Kremlin spokesperson, Kyiv is trying to influence developments on the battlefield this way.
"As for the strikes, they once again highlight the nature of the Kyiv regime. And here, of course, the main thing is to recall Putin's words: 'You opened Pandora's box yourselves, now you will get a response.' Kyiv is feeling these responses every day and every night, and will continue to feel them," Peskov threatened.
Against this backdrop, he also commented on government measures to support Russian businesses and the population.
According to Putin's spokesperson, such measures are still being developed, and no final decisions have been made yet.
"The government, together with business representatives, is considering and developing various options for providing support in this difficult situation," Peskov added, effectively contradicting his own claim that Ukraine's attacks on Russia are "achieving nothing."
On August 24, it was reported that Ukrainian forces attacked three major Ozon hubs in Russia, sending the company's shares down nearly 30%.
We also reported that a large warehouse caught fire in Krasnodar during a massive drone attack.
On August 23, a large industrial zone containing military-related enterprises caught fire in St. Petersburg.
