Ukraine strikes three Ozon logistics hubs in Russia, sending shares tumbling

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck three major logistics centers belonging to Russian marketplace Ozon overnight on August 24, causing the company’s shares to plunge, according to Fire Point.
Which Ozon hubs were hit
According to Fire Point, three major Ozon logistics facilities were targeted in different regions of southern Russia:
- Enem, Adygea — a logistics center covering about 91,200 square meters;
- Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai — a hub covering about 93,500 square meters;
- Tyube, Dagestan — the largest of the three, covering about 130,000 square meters.
The Tyube hub is an important part of Ozon’s logistics network in the North Caucasus. It was also being developed as a hub for international shipments to Azerbaijan and Iran as part of the North-South Transport Corridor.

What's known about the damage
A large fire broke out after the Ozon logistics complex in Tyube was hit. The full extent of the damage to all three facilities has not yet been established.
In total, Ozon logistics facilities covering more than 315,000 square meters were targeted in a single night.
Ozon shares plunge after the strikes
Against the backdrop of reports about the attacks, Ozon shares on the Moscow Exchange fell sharply. At one point, the stock dropped to 2,158 rubles per share, down 27.5% from the close of the August 21 evening session.
Shares of Sistema, which is linked to Ozon, also fell, declining by about 17% at one point.
The strikes came after Ozon had already suffered losses to its logistics network. On August 22, Ukrainian drones hit a major company warehouse in Chapayevsk, Samara region.
According to RBC-Ukraine, the Ozon complex in Dagestan covers about 130,000 square meters. A large fire broke out there following the strike, and the facility was important for shipments toward Azerbaijan and Iran.
Meanwhile, overnight on August 24, drones targeted two more Ozon logistics centers in Adygea and Stavropol Krai. Together, the facilities cover nearly 185,000 square meters.
Krasnodar was also targeted that night. During the massive drone attack, a large warehouse covering about 9,000 square meters caught fire.
Initial reports suggested the damage may have been caused by electronic warfare systems or falling debris from a downed drone.
