US assistance to Ukraine
The United States has provided extensive military aid to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s invasion. This wide-ranging support not only includes the provision of heavy weaponry such as air defense systems and artillery but also training for Ukrainian forces, intelligence sharing, and financial assistance.
Recently, the White House announced a new $375 million military aid package for Ukraine. This package will include bombs, ammunition for HIMARS systems, artillery shells, rockets, anti-tank systems, M1117 armored personnel carriers, and other equipment.
Media outlets also reported that Ukraine would receive medium-range air-dropped bombs for F-16 fighter jets from the US for the first time.
